We have had a great camp at Hanmer Springs (see School Facebook page ), the choir is performing at Horncastle Arena this week, we are preparing for the Athletics Sports, have auditioned for our end of year concert (Ashton's Boot ... based on the Cinderella story), have a Pet Day planned, and swimming lessons at Kaiapoi Aquatic Centre. Busy, busy, busy!
Here are some home challenges for this week...
- Play ukulele chords C, F & G, in songs like "Dad I Want to be a Camel", and "She'll be Right"
- Fitness...run 1-1.5km as fast as you can
- Learn the 6 "tricky" spelling words (accommodation, deceive, generally, medicine, potatoes, secretary)
- Maths sheet - Prime numbers; Order of Operations... (choose one, or do both)
- Camp follow-up activities... making a valuable memento of a great camp!
