Measuring with circles

We have been measuring areas and perimeters of rectangles and triangles and now we are looking at circles.

Do you know how to calculate the circumference of a circle if you only know the diameter?

Multiply the diameter by a bit more than 3 (3.14). The circumference is just over 3 times the diameter.

  1. Hi Room 5
Room 6 at Bamford, think that it is really cool that you are having fun exploring and modeling your maths learning outside. Are you finding this work challenging?
